PDU Stencil
Stencils certainly have a huge place in my heart. To my delight, this stencil, or rather font, is called PDU and allows you to create all letters, numbers and symbols from one universal grid. Designed by Dries Wiewauters of Colophon Type Studio..... it certainly could create endless hours of playing.
Above: Newspaper from Colophon explaining the history and rational behind the PDU font. Based on the original idea (Joseph A David in 1876) of a stencil system that could be used universally by sign makers - .

Good Wishes for Christmas
Merry Christmas!
Thank you to everyone who reads the A+B or even glances as they wander past.
It is truly a delight. Thank you, thank you. May everyone have a wonderful year!
And, to all of my close friends and family, lots of love. xoxo

Glimpt
Swedish design group GLIMPT work with craftsmen from around the world to have their designs produced. So far they have traveled to Africa and Vietnam and I think they have a good thing going here. I am sure in the months to come they will have established more great connections and in turn more beautiful objects.
