We do Wood - Denmark

We Do Wood: Dining Chair No1, Lilly Chair, Dining Table No1.
I am so in love with this collection by We Do Wood.....especially the chubby children's chair (Lilly), which is just a shorter, more playful version of the adult Dining Chair No1.

USM Haller

I wish USM Haller would sponsor me just for reading.

I am in serious need of more book space.  Last weekend the Milwaukee Art Museum (to my surprise!) was having their book sale from their private library and this book sale only happens every 2 or 3 years....so, I was in real luck for being there.  The books were cheap and plentiful...so that meant buying all the books to your hearts content while trying to remember how you were going to carry these back to the car!   Well 30 books later......and I am in need of some space.  I just wanted to let USM how beautiful their bookcases are and that I would be great representation of their company! Smile.

Gauzak

I don't own a coffee table because I don't like the permanence of it.
I prefer moveable end tables or containers with handles so that the space can change based upon what I am doing.  These pieces by spanish design firm Gauzak (Barcelona) fulfill that requirement and also satisfy my overwhelming need for magazine storage.

Gauzak is an industrial and product design firm in Barcelona. Founded by Leire Pérez, Juan Tomás Carboneras and Arkaitz Arco. The meaning of GAUZAK translates to "STUFF". Per Gauzak, "Anything having an entity, whether it is physical or spiritual, natural or artificial, real or abstract".

Glass manufacturer Glas Italia works with designers to create these absolute perfect pieces.  Shown last, the Faint table, by Patricia Urquiola is one of my favorites.

GUBI

GUBI - The first picture (of the BL-2 Lamp) is from one of my favorite ads by Gubi. Every time I see it, I tear it out and put it in my pile of pics to save. I must have at least 8 tear outs of that picture!

Below that: Gubi 1 Chair, Gubi 1 Chair shown with SM-2 pendant and the MG coat rack multicolor. CLASSIC!!!

All images from Gubi.

Zoe Mowat

Zoe Mowat is a freelance designer working out of Quebec.
Combining elements of wood, steel and felt, her vision of functionality combined with her spot-on use of color has me captured. On my wish list, the Cache Storage Credenza (2nd from top)!!!
