GUBI

GUBI - The first picture (of the BL-2 Lamp) is from one of my favorite ads by Gubi. Every time I see it, I tear it out and put it in my pile of pics to save. I must have at least 8 tear outs of that picture!

Below that: Gubi 1 Chair, Gubi 1 Chair shown with SM-2 pendant and the MG coat rack multicolor. CLASSIC!!!

All images from Gubi.

Cezanne

One of my favorite quotes: "The banker Cezanne does not see without fear/Behind his desk a painter appear" Written by Cezanne in an accounting notebook while working as a banker at his father's business.

Painting above: Chestnut Trees at the Jas de Bouffon hangs in my dining room (a copy of course).

Llot LLOV

This little light of mine..........Earl light by Llot Llov.

Zoe Mowat

Zoe Mowat is a freelance designer working out of Quebec.
Combining elements of wood, steel and felt, her vision of functionality combined with her spot-on use of color has me captured. On my wish list, the Cache Storage Credenza (2nd from top)!!!

Mr Paul Rand

Buying another Paul and Ann Rand book for one of our favorite little girls (little d) for Christmas. This got me looking around the Paul Rand website and found myself loving these personal items of his on the gallery page.

Bruno Munari

Like most, I am obsessed with Bruno Munari. His book, Speak Italian (1958), is just another example of his creative endeavors.
Actual images from the book shown above are taken from Mrs Easton blog - a very delightful blog!!!

Portrait de famille

I am really trying to take more photos especially of my friends and family. I think back over the years of how many amazing memories I wish I would have captured. Here is some sample work from Portrait de Famille taken by Delphine Beaumont. Sorry, my french is not good enough to translate much more of her site, so just have a look at some of my favorite images.
